Renix Receives Honourable Mention for their Nutrient Treatment Innovation at the Canadian Heat of Water Dragons 2025 Pitch Competition held by Future Water Association.

LONDON, ON – Renix is proud to announce it has received an Honourable Mention at the Canadian Heat of Water Dragons 2025, hosted by the Future Water Association in collaboration with the High Commission of Canada. This recognition underscores the growing international interest in Renix’s advanced ion exchange platform and its potential to support sustainable, cost-effective nutrient treatment for municipal water systems.

Held on May 28th, 2025, the Canadian Heat is part of the Water Dragons 2025 series, designed to give companies a unique opportunity to showcase breakthrough water technologies that address pressing industry and environmental challenges.

RENIX WINS INNOVATIVE WATER TREATMENT TECHNOLOGY AWARD AT IFAT BRASIL 2024

London, ON — Renix Inc. won the Innovative Technology Award 2024 during the third day of the trade fair at the first version of IFAT Brasil 2024, held in Sao Paulo, Brazil, in April 2024.

Andy Prince, Director of Sales and Science, participated in the pitch competition for new technologies for water treatment at the Innovation Pavilion by Isle Brazil. He showcased the RenixUIXTM platform for water purification, and as a result, Renix obtained the Innovative Technology Award during the first IFAT fair held in Latin America.

At Renix, we support water users across a range of industries in their efforts to manage water through improved processes. Our steady-state ion exchange platform offers elegantly upgraded technology to manage dissolved solids such as hardness, maximize fit-for-use water recycling, minimize freshwater intake, and reduce wastewater discharge.

Renix Inc and ClonBio Group Ltd are pleased to announce a multi-million dollar investment to accelerate the next stage of Renix’s corporate development.

Renix Completes New Demonstration Unit

After beginning construction in 2018, London, Ontario-based Renix Inc. has successfully developed its RenixUIX™ unit to help provide sustainable solutions to capture, separate, and purify resources for the increasing needs of the global population.

Renix has developed the steady-state RenixUIX™ system utilizing the proven chemistry of ion exchange and delivering it in a newly patented platform, to achieve higher quality industrial liquid separation while minimizing required inputs.

To provide scale-up demonstration and industry acceptance, Renix built a universal fully automated demonstration unit to allow for application configuration across multiple industries. The demonstration unit incorporates full remote monitoring and control, robust 24/7 continuous operations, and modular skid mounted components that industries demand to maximize operational efficiency.

Eduardo Cordova, Vice President of Business Development at Renix, acknowledged that Renix’s project received financial and advisory support from Bioindustrial Innovation Canada has provided, through their Centre for Commercialization of Sustainable Chemistry Innovation program.
